Callie Mae Sapp, 95 of Gainesville passed away at Park Meadows on Wednesday, January 27, 2010.
Mrs. Sapp has been a life time resident of this area. She worked for 25 years at Sears and volunteered at North Florida Regional Medical Center for 20 years. She was known as a great cook and loved quilting.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Sapp and son, Billy Sapp.
She is survived by daughters, Betty Lou Hicks, Marion Kelly and Linda McMillan; seven grandchildren, Cindy Cellon, Tammy McElroy, Joey Kelly, Alan Kelly, Mickey McMillan, Butch Thrower, and Shane McMillan; and five great grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 30 at Forest Meadows Memorial Park Central, 4100 NW 39th Avenue, Gainesville, FL. In Lieu of flowers , the family has requested Expressions of Sympathy be made to; Haven Hospice of North Central Florida, 4200 N.W. 90th Blvd. Gainesville, FL 32606 or The Breast Cancer Foundation, Susan Komen; N. Fl. Affilate, 2014 W. University Blvd.; Jacksonville, FL. 32217. Arrangements are under the care of Forest Meadows Funeral Home, Cemeteries and Crematory.
