Dorothy L. Mowbray, 91, of Gainesville passed away on July 11, 2010 at E.T. York Hospice Care Center.
She was born on October 2, 1918 in Parkersburg, West Virginia. She was a retired secretary from Sunland Training Center.
She is survived by her son, William Mowbray of Gainesville; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Mowbray and son, Alan E. Mowbray.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 14, 2010 from 6 to 8 PM at Forest Meadows Funeral Home, 725 NW 23rd Ave. A funeral service will be held at the Chapel In The Meadows, 4100 NW 39th Ave, on Thursday, July 15, 2010 at 11:00 Am with Rev. William H. Yeager officiating. Burial will follow after the service.
