Albert Dewey King

Albert Dewey King of Ft White, Florida, passed away July 12, 2015 at the age of 90. Mr. King was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a member of the First Baptist church of Fort White, Florida.
Albert enlisted in the United States Navy, and proudly served his country from 1943 to 1946. He sailed the South Pacific aboard the USS Witter to Okinawa in World War II, and received several decorations.
Mr. King is survived by his daughters and their husbands, Valley Ann and John Wyley Ritch, Sr. and Teresa Mae King-Santana, his sons and their wives, Albert Dewey Jr. and Heyda King, Carl David and Debbie King, and son-in-law Troy Hollingsworth, 17 grandchildren, 21 great- grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
Mr. King is predeceased by his beloved wife Nellie Ruth King, his daughter’s Jewell Ruth Yeargin and Margaret Ann Hollingsworth, and his great- grandchildren Molly Ann Ritch and Preston Sullivan.
Visitation will be July 15, 2015, from 5:30 t0 8:30 p.m. at Evans Carter Funeral Home Chapel, High Springs, FL. Funeral services will be held July 16, 2015, 10:30 a.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church, Ft. White, FL, with interment to follow at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery.
