Annabelle Jemison Glagola, age 100, of Gainesville, Florida died on November 4, 2018, at The Village of Gainesville-Rose Court. Born in Neptune, NJ, on May 3, 1918, to the late Robert & Jennie (Knox) Jemison, she graduated from the Ann May School of Nursing, a Nursing Diploma program associated with the Fitkin Memorial Hospital, in Neptune, NJ. Annabelle worked as a nurse for many years in the Pensacola area. Annabelle was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Charles Glagola, formerly of Gainesville, FL, who died on March 31, 2002 and her daughter, Barbara Ann, who died in 1993. She is survived by her family to include her son, Charles Robert Glagola and daughter-in-law, Rebecca Chappell Glagola of Gainesville, FL. granddaughters, Jennie Scott Glagola, also of Gainesville, & Caroline Jemison Dunn (Joseph) of Cambridge, MA, Lizbeth Mohler of CT, and Theron MacDonald of CA. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 on Monday Nov. 12 in the chapel at The Village.
