Anne Marie Hamlin, aged 72, was called to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Easter Sunday, April 1, 2018. She was born in Brussels, Belgium, to Jean and Charlotte Quinet on August 8, 1945. She moved to the United States as a young girl and grew up in Providence, RI, and Detroit, MI. She received her Associate’s Degree in accounting and held several positions over the years performing bookkeeping and administrative work. She relocated to High Springs, FL, in 2004. She enjoyed horseback riding and cooking and will be especially remembered for her delicious galettes, a favorite for everyone. Her life’s joy was spending time with her family as wife, mother and grandmother. She looked forward to spending her retirement traveling with her husband, her children and her grandchildren.
She leaves behind her loving husband of 51 years, Gary Hamlin, and two children, Paul (Susannah) Hamlin of High Springs, FL, and Claudine (Robert) Krawczyk of Lexington Park, MD. She was the devoted grandmother to Audrey, Zachary, Matthew, Adelle and Elise.
Funeral services will begin at 10:00 am on Monday, May 14, 2018, at Saint Madeleine Catholic Church in High Springs, FL, followed by a celebratory luncheon.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in her honor to the American Cancer Society.
