Ms. Annette Marie Arp, 58, of Gainesville passed away October 30, 2014 after months of battling cancer. Ms. Arp was born in Conneaut, OH, but had lived in Gainesville since 1970. Ms. Arp spent several decades working in Radiologic Sciences, first practicing in the field and then later teaching as an instructor at Santa Fe College.
Ms. Arp is survived by her son Edward Arp (Julia Rae Varnes) of Jonesville, her step-grandchildren Austin and Grayson, a surrogate daughter Angela Williamson of Brunswick, GA, her surrogate grandchildren Jacob and Victoria, and a large group of very close friends.
A funeral mass will be held for Ms. Arp at Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church 4:00PM Wednesday, November 5, 2014 with Father Roland Julien officiating. The family will receive friends for a viewing at the Church one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a cancer charity of your preference.

Eddie, We were sorry to hear about your mom’s passing. Although, I saw you both at SFC we remember you both from when we were neighbors in Buck Bay. One of my memories is that Annette loved Christmas. She made the biggest gingerbread house I think I have ever seen!
