Annette Marie DeBusk

Annette Marie DeBusk, 59, of Waldo, Fl passed away on September 26, 2022, after a courageous battle with metastatic pancreatic cancer, under the care of E.T. York Haven Hospice.

Born on October 24, 1962 in Hollywood, Fl, Annette was the second of four children of Albert and Helen (Mailloux) Hester. Annette spent her childhood in south Florida before moving to the
Gainesville area in her late teens where she graduated from Santa Fe High School in 1981. A custodian by trade she began working for the University of Florida in 1997 where she advanced
to becoming a Custodial Supervisor prior to her retirement in August 2022. Annette was known for her brilliant smile and her love of the Florida Gators. She spent her free time watching Gators football and spending time with family.
Annette is preceded in death by her grandparents and her father Albert Hester.
She is survived by her mother Helen Hester, her sister Diane Medaugh, brothers Fred Hester and Tommy Hester,her husband Shelby DeBusk, her children Kenneth Porr, Jennifer Porr, and Ashley DeBusk, her grandchildren Emma Porr and Hayden Nassoiy, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at Forest Meadows Funeral Home, 725 NW 23rd Ave, Gainesville, FL 32609, on October 6, 2022 at 3 p.m
