After the military days she and Honey traveled in their motorhome as much as they could. She managed to see all 50 states, part of Mexico, and every province in Canada. Her travels included most of Europe, much of the Mediterranean, Panama, and Japan. Mrs. Palmer retired from Publix Supermarkets in 1983 where she worked as the head cashier. She was married to the love of her life Oscar “Honey” Palmer, Jr. for more than 49 years. Survivors include: David C. Palmer (Michele) of NC, Raymond “Paul” Palmer (Diana) of SC, 6 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
