Beatrice W. Ellis

Beatrice W. Ellis, 87 of Gainesville went to be with her Lord on Sunday, Oct. 25, 2015. Sister Beatrice was born in Johnson, Fl. and was a long time resident of the area. She was a retired supervisor at Tacachle where she worked for many years. Sister Beatrice was of the Baptist faith and was a chairman of Crime Watch of NE Gainesville, member of Black on Black crime task force, Front porch of Florida, President of Eagle eyes. Sister Beatrice is preceded in death by a son Bob Edwards. She is survived by daughter- Janice Young- Caine of Atlanta, Ga., daughter- Flora Samuel of Miramar, Fl., daughter- Linda Campbell of Gainesville, Fl., son- Eugene White of Forest, Ms., and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family will be having a gathering at Forest Meadows Funeral Home on Friday, Nov 6th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Beatrice’s home going celebration will be Sat, Nov 7th at 11:00 am at the Female Protective Center on 12610 NW 39th Ave. all are welcome to attend and celebrate her life.
