Betty Jean Shields, 89, passed away on May, 6, 2022, at Holmes Regional hospital in Melbourne, FL following a serious illness.

She was born on December 20, 1932 to Mae Eunette Causby and Horace Wiley Evans in northwest Georgia.

Betty was devoted to her late husband and loved to travel, dance and shop in earlier years. She held positions in the medical field as an X-ray technician and a Medical Assistant.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Debra Warren Morgan and her grandson, Christopher Warren Morgan.

Funeral Service will be held for her at Forest Meadows Funeral Home on 39th Avenue in Gainesville, FL from 1-3 pm on May 13, 2022.
