Bonnie Faye Morris


Bonnie Faye Morris, 82, went to her Heavenly home, Thursday, February 26th, 2015 at E T York Haven Hospice. She was born December 24, 1932 in Enterprise, Alabama. She is preceeded in death by her beloved husband of 62 years, R. Cecil Morris, her parents and all her siblings. She leaves her daughter, Deborah St Peter (Bob), her son R. Steve Morris (Belinda), Grandchildren Brian Morris, Kelley Morris, and Kimberly DeMoss (Jimmy), Christopher Tenney (Taylor), Great Grandchildren, Nathan Morris, Elizabeth Grubbs, and Gabriel Melgoza. Faye was a member of Parkview Baptist Church, Gainesville Order of Eastern Star #44, Past Matron, Grand Instructor, and Grand Representative of Scotland in Florida. Khem Temple #85, Daughters of the Nile, Gainesville Chapter, Plural Member of OES Waldo Chapter #120. United Daughters of the Confederacy, Past President. Faye was a retired Bookkeeper, she served many years as a Sunday school teacher at Lake Forest Baptist Church, Gator Fan “She LOVED her Tebow”, loving wife, mother ,and grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, and family genealogy.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm, Friday, March 6th, 2015 At Forest Meadows Funeral Home, 725 NW 23rd Ave, Gainesville, Florida.
Funeral Services will be at Forest Meadows Funeral Home, 10:00 am, Saturday, March 7th, 2015. Burial with Masonic Rites at Forest Meadows Cemetery, 3700 SE Hawthorne Road, Gainesville, Florida.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the E T York Haven Hospice, 4200 NW 90th Blvd, Gainesville, Fl 32606.

    With loving memories of Faye and of Cecil. Blessings to all their family and friends from Juanita Frazier at Frazier Ceramic Shop where Cecil kept my window a/cs going when sent by Faye.
    It’s wonderful to know they are happily together again in Heaven.

    Our prayers and well wishes are with you and all your family in your time of grief. This is the stage in our lives when it comes time to put our parents to their final rest. It’s a hard and sad time but we know we have to let them go on to complete they’re cycle of life in the hereafter. God speed to them all and know they watch over us always.
