Charles Vernard Cook, 91, passed away at Malcom Randall V.A. Medical Center on July 8, 2012.
He was born on April 21, 1921 in Port Lambton, Ontario, Canada to Vern and Anna Cook. He proudly served in the U.S. Army. He was a maintenance supervisor for the Ford automotive company.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret; sons, Don (Mary) Cook, James Cook; daughter, Diane (Wayne) Smith; and grandchildren, Patrick Smith, Erica Smith and Jake Mace.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 13, 2012 at 11 AM at the Chapel In The Meadows, 4100 NW 39th Ave., with Rev. Howard Long officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Meadows Memorial Park Central.
