Mrs. Cheryl L. Honaker, 53, of High Springs passed away Monday, July 14, 2014 following a brief illness. Mrs. Honaker was born in Lakeland, FL, but had lived in the High Springs area for 22 years after moving here from White Springs, FL. Mrs. Honaker was an assistant teacher at Bell Elementary School. Mrs. Honaker was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years Mont Honaker.
Mrs. Honaker is survived by her daughter Jennifer Honaker of High Springs, her son Justin Honaker of High Springs, and her brothers Hershel Hughes of Laurel Hill, FL and Harold Hughes, Jr. of Lakeland, FL
Funeral services for Mrs. Honaker will be held 11:00 AM Friday, July 18, 2014 at the First Baptist Church of High Springs with Pastor Derek Lambert officiating. Interment will following in the Townsend Cemetery in Gilchrist County. The family will receive friends at the church Thursday evening from 6 – 8 PM.
