To the bereaved family of Coretha Leath: It is at this time I send my prayers and condolences to you all. I met Coretha while employed at the Loften Center where I worked with and became very fond of 2 of the girls that she had in her group home and attended the center, Cindy Dixon and Jean Bridges. Of all the people that I knew that had group homes and worked with the mentally challenged, Coretha was by far the most LOVING and GENUINE with her babies as she so affectionately called them. She always exemplified and expressed love with everyone that I personally saw her interact with. I’ve never known or seen her return or do a wrong for a wrong, but would love you in spite of. I can say that she was a woman of GOD, she didn’t just “talk the talk” she “walked the walk”. She left an example for each of us to follow. Family, you have so much to be proud of your loved one was beautiful fom the inside out and treated people with love and kindness!! Cherish the precious and private memories that she shared with you individually and pass it on. I know that this will be a difficult time as you mourn your loss, lean on the Lord and each other for strength. I pray that GOD gives you peace and comfort in your private momemts of grieving. With Deepest Sympathy, Verlinda McDaniel
