Curdel L. Skepple

Curdel L. Skepple, age 87, was born in Sea View Farm, Antigua, West Indies May 10, 1926.  She passed away January 3, 2014 at Park Meadows Nursing Home in Gainesville, FL.  Mrs. Skepple moved to Micanopy, FL in 1997 after living many years in Brooklyn, NY.

 

She is survived by sons, Owenson Humphreys (Beverly) of Micanopy, Jerome Sheppard (Julyn), Hampton, VA, Conrado Skepple (Cheryl) Brandon, FL, Romeo Skepple, Antigua,  and Ovril Skepple, Yonkers, NY; daughters, Morleen Skepple, Gainesville, Juliette Campbell, Gainesville and “raised like a daughter”, Hillerine Best of Coconut Creek, FL; 25 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and many other family members and friends.

 

Friends and family will gather at Forest Meadows Funeral Home, 725 NW 23rd Avenue, Gainesville, FL on Saturday, January 11, 2014.  Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM with Funeral Services at 11:00 AM.  Burial will follow at Forest Meadows Memorial Park Central, 4100 NW 39th Avenue, Gainesville.
