Carole and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I have so many fond memories of Dennie and the rest of the family at Grandma and Grandpa Johnson’s. Then when I was older and moved to Florida. I lived with Doie and Calvin for a while. I decided to move back home and Dennie helped me plan out my route. I left at 12 midnight and did not tell too many people. I was home sick. I do not think Doie appreciated Dennie keeping that from her. I just wanted you all to know that I remember a lot of good times. Even though I do not get to see and visit with you all, you are family and I wish you all God’s comfort and blessings at this time of loss. My prayers and love to everyone of you! He has been my strength through my times of losing loved ones.

I met Denny (and Carole) from my son in law Chris, (Cassy and Mya). When I’d come to visit, I was welcomed into the whole family, and Denny and Carole were kind enough to put me up in their spare room on a few visits. I so enjoyed my time with them. One Christmas morning Denny wanted to show me a few attractions that interested him, and it’s a Christmas I remember fondly. I enjoyed the family Holiday meals and made lifelong friends that I consider family to this day. Sending love and peace to Carole and everyone. Denny will be missed and always loved.

    Carol & Family,

Words cannot express how sorry I am for your loss. Denny was a great man, so witty, & strong. The backbone of the family. I will forever be grateful for your family stepping up and filling a need that you never had to. Thank you all for the wonderful memories. I can see him & Jennifer cracking jokes in heaven together, laughing their contagious laughs, & being the life of the party with Little Stevie & Nana. I hope that comforts you during this time. Sending peace & love your way.
