Dianne Bravis Caridi

4/23/1969  - 2/2/2012

Dianne Bravis Caridi, 42, of Gainesville and Plant City, passed away February 2, 2012 after a three and a half year battle with lung cancer. Dianne was raised in Plant City and moved to Gainesville 17 years ago. She was a daughter to Chuck and Kathy, a mother to Joey and Anthony, a wife to Joe, an All American swimmer for Clemson University, a swim coach at the Plant City YMCA, a guidance counselor in Polk and Levy Counties, and a member of First Lutheran Church.
Dianne graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Clemson University and Master’s and Specialist degrees from the University Of Florida College Of Education.
She is survived by her husband of 12 years, Joseph T. Caridi, Jr, sons Joseph Bravis Caridi and Anthony Charles Caridi, parents Charles and Kathleen Bravis of Plant City and brother Charles Scott Bravis of Valrico, FL.
 A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at 10:30am at First Lutheran Church, 1801 NW 5th Ave, Gainesville, FL with Pastor John Roth officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to an education fund for Dianne’s two young children at any Campus USA Credit Union in Gainesville or mailed to The Anthony & Joseph Caridi Education Fund, Campus USA Credit Union, PO Box 147029, Gainesville, FL 32614-7029.
