Dorothy Dell Johnson, 85 years of age, passed on Sunday, December 6, 2020 in Gainesville, Fl. She was born April 5, 1935 in White Springs, Fl to the late Marvin and Della Spradley Wheeler. She has 10 siblings, five preceded her in death. She married the late Fred Elbert Johnson on December 25, 1953 in Lake City, Fl and 3 children were born from this union. She was a faithful member of Pine Grove Baptist Church in Gainesville. She loved to read her bible, spending time with family, laughing and always wearing a smile on her face. She was a loving and caring person, devoted wife, mother, and granny, grandma, and Gigi, always thinking of others first. “To know her was to love her.” She leaves to cherish her loving memory with her children, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. She is preceded by Her Parents, husband of 51 years and her siblings; Eunice Cravey, Marvin (Buddy) Wheeler, Kathryn Dykas, CA Wheeler and James Wheeler. She is Survived by her 3 Children Cheryl Moss, Linda Partin, and Fred Johnson Jr, 4 grandchildren Cheryl Lynn Lester (Wesley), Christopher Moss (Beth), Brandon Partin (Sarah) and Eric Partin (Holly); great-grandchildren Austin, Alisha, Kayla, Luke, Liam, Finnegan, and Archer. And 1 Great Great Grandbaby due in January Gracelynn Hope; Siblings, Thelma Chauncey, Betty Ann Stumph, June Walker, Charlotte Collins, and Alice Anderson and her best Friend Viola. There will be a graveside service on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Oak Grove Cemetery in Lake City at 11 am.
