    Dear Myra and Mary Ann,

We were out of town over the holidays and just found out about your mother’s death and funeral. At your convenience, please send/email your contact info, including your phone number(s), so I can speak with you personally.

Your mom was sweetheart and always brought a smile to my face. I know that you both loved her greatly and will miss her more as the years go by.
My mother is still alive, although her quality of life is not good. She resides in Palm Garden and suffers from a variety of problems, including vascular dementia, secondary to a stroke she had in 2008.

Please know that I will be thinking of you both in this difficult time. We’ll talk soon.

Just now saw your message. It was so nice to hear from you. I wish I had known Fran was at Palm Gardens, Mother was there for three days and I
would had loved to have seen her. I feel about her the way you do mother. They are both great women.
