Elizabeth Parker Palmer Davis, 59, of Gainesville, passed away on May
24, 2021 in Gainesville, Florida.
Elizabeth was born in New York City, NY to Herbert and Jeanette Parker
on February 7, 1962. She earned a degree in Computer Information Systems
from the University of Florida. She worked as an IT Manager for the
University of Florida for 35 years. She was the bookkeeper for the
Sunday Evening Vista chapter of Alcoholics Anonymous. She enjoyed
needlepoint and was a great lover of dogs. She received the Spirit
Accomplishment Award 2 times from the University of Florida.
Elizabeth is survived by her husband John Davis, of Gainesville,
Florida. Daughter, Amanda Swindle (Michael) of St. Louis, MO. Child,
Cubby Palmer of St Louis, MO. Daughter Kristen Dyer (John) of Kapolei,
HI. Mother Jeanette Sturgis of St. Louis, MO. Brothers, H. James Parker
of Mystic, CT and Jonathan G Parker (Ellen) of Melbourne, FL. Sister,
Kathryn P Roseman (Stephen), of St. Louis, MO. Stepsons, Kyle and Ryan
Davis (Lindsay), Tampa, FL. Step grandsons, Breck and Ollie Davis, of
Tampa, FL.
Elizabeth is preceded in death by her father, Herbert J. Parker and her
son Charles Alec Coleman.
