Elsie Costello, 93 moved to Florida from Pennsylvania 20 years ago with her late husband, Arthur Costello. She passed away peacefully under the care of Hospice on December 10, 2017 in the presence of family members. She graduated from cosmetology school in 1965 and had her own beauty shop in her home. Her hobbies included bingo, bowling, knitting, collecting coins, baseball cards, and stamps, card playing with friends and family, gambling when she could get to Atlantic City or Vegas, searching and digging for precious stones while camping across the USA. She enjoyed reading throughout her life, especially in her later years when she was unable to do her other hobbies. Above all, she loved spending time with family. She was a wonderful mother who cherished and loved her family dearly. Survived by her 4 children, Bruce Costello (Sherry) of Galitzin, PA, Alan Costello of St. Thomas, VI, Sharon Balanis (Charles) of Gainesville, FL, and Laurie Costello ( Dave) of Archer, FL. She had 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
