Camacho, Eula Davis, 95 of Gainesville passed away on Saturday, November 1st, 2014 at the Sterling House of Gainesville. Eula was born in Arcadia, FL on May 15th, 1919 and moved north for better employment opportunities. She started out working in the homes of Jewish families as a care-taker and the got a job with the FBI assembling electronic surveillance equipment and worked there until her retirement.
Eula has been a faithful member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and a member of the Women’s Club of St. Patrick’s.
Eula was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Camacho, Jr and her sister Minnie Ross. She is survived by her brother Howard Clark of Archer and her Great Niece Rosalee Alston-Rivers.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church on Thursday, November 6th, 2014 at 11:00am, celebrated by Father Roland Julien. There will be a visitation on Wednesday evening from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the Forest Meadows Funeral Home.
Ms. Eula has been a member of our family (Borst) since my mom (Joan Borst Arden) was seven years old. She was always a breath of fresh air and shared her many experience over the years during our visits or phone calls. She will be greatly missed.
I am very happy to be able to say that Ms. Eula was a part of three generations of the Borst family.
