Frank Clarence Moylan, age 80, died peacefully, Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at his residence, under Hospice care, with his wife of 60 years by his side. Frank and Gertrud were married December 29, 1953. Frank and Gertrud moved to Gainesville 40 years ago. He was Retired from the U.S. Air Force after 23 years of service, and then worked as a Police Officer at the VAMC in Gainesville, for 21 years. Frank was of the Baptist Faith, a Mason, and a Shriner. He loved to hunt, fish, and play golf. He also loved football and became a true Gator fan. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, and three sisters. He is survived by his beloved Gertrud affectionately known to him as “Gertie”, two sisters, Nell and Jean, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 10, 2012, at Forest Meadows Funeral Home Chapel. Burial with Military Honors will be held following the service at Forest Meadows Memorial Park, West, on CR 241. Mr. Moylan’s family will receive friends on Friday, March 9, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. |
