In Loving Memory of

Geneva Hutcheson

 -

Geneva Hutcheson was born to Archie and Goldie Johnson on March 3, 1928. She was the middle
sibling of their three children, with Frank being the older brother and Imagene the younger sister.
Shortly after the end of the second world war, her dreamboat, James Hutcheson, returned home from
Japan. They were married soon after and started their life together.
During her 94 years of life, she witnessed a great many events. She experienced the hardship of the
Great Depression firsthand. Struggled with the nation during World War 2, as loved ones marched off to
war and the rationing of supplies had everyone tightening their belt. Marveled as the country grew into
prosperity, created great works, and advanced in the sciences. All the while raising a family with her
beloved husband.
She was a strong woman, very loyal and loving to her family, with a firm devotion to God. She was a
wonderful wife to her husband, as well as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She
passed away on September 14, 2022, survived by her daughter, son-in-law, grandson, granddaughter-in-
law, and her great grandchildren. She returns to the embrace of her husband and other loved ones lost
along life’s journey.
