Gregory Allen Smith, 59, passed away on November 5, 2022, at North Florida Hospital. He was born in West Palm Beach, FL to Larry and Ann Smith. After graduating from Oak Hall School he attended some college at the University of Florida. Greg worked off and on in computer programming and software development. He loved cooking and learning about world cuisines and shared his life with many dogs over the years. Greg loved watching NFL football and was a lifelong fan of the Florida Gators. He was a master of trivia of all kinds and enjoyed discussing movies, history and music.

Greg is preceded in death by his mother and father.

He is survived by brothers Larry (Maggie), and Brad; niece, Amy, and nephews Matthew and Michael.

A memorial service will be held graveside at Forest Meadows Cemetery, 4100 NW 39th Ave, on Friday, November 18th at 11:00. In lieu of flowers the family requests all donations to the Humane Society of North Central Florida, 4205 NW 6th St, Gainesville, FL 32609.
