He was very athletic and starred on the baseball and basketball teams in high school and also participated in several clubs including the Beta Club, the Key Club, and the Varsity Club. Greg began college at the University of Georgia. He married Charlotte Hogan in 1966 and had two wonderful children, Chris and Stacy. He shared his passion for golf with his children and grandchildren, giving lessons and tips whenever he could. He was also a huge fan of the University of Georgia Bulldogs. Greg had an appreciation for putting his best foot forward in everything he did, whether it was school, sports, or work, and for teaching his children and grandchildren to be the best version of themselves that they could be.
