Hailey Grace Scott, age 17, of Gainesville, FL, passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2021.

Hailey was an angel sent to us by the Lord. Hailey was a bright, compassionate person whose beautiful smile and easy-going nature connected her to many friends. She loved the Lord, family, children, animals, music and anything regarding the Titanic.

Hailey was preceded in death by her Mother, Holly Christine Scott, her Maternal Great Grandmother, Foye Radford Gillis, and her Maternal Great Grandfather, Bobby Gillis. Also preceded in death by her Paternal Grandmother, Debbie Scott. Hailey is survived by her parents, Bonnie Gillis Mazer and Alan Mazer of Gainesville, her Grandfather, Michael Scott and Grandmother, Brenda Kidwell of Micanopy. Her Maternal Grandfather Steve Ewing of Gainesville. Hailey is survived by her dad, Matthew Leigh Scott and brother Elijah Scott of Gainesville. She is also survived by her Maternal Uncle Andrew Gillis (Lisa), Cousins: Shannon Gillis (Tony Cooke) and Shelby Hathcox (David) and A.J. Gillis, Maternal Uncle, Jody Gillis, Cousins; Zane Gillis and Sean Gillis, Parental Uncle, Brooks Scott (Laurel), Cousins; Josh, Jonas and Ben Scott of Gainesville, Parental Aunt, Kelly Scott, Cousins; Harley, Devin, Oliver and Bailey of Gainesville.

On Sunday, February 28th, a viewing will be held at the Forest Meadows Funeral Home, 725 NW 23rd Avenue, Gainesville, FL 32609 from 5-7 PM for friends of the Family. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, March 1, 2021, at 10 am, at Forest Meadows Memorial Park – Central 4100 NW 39th Avenue, Gainesville, FL. 32609.

At both events, Social Distancing and Mask will be required for everyone’s safety.
