      Hi Debi

I came across your message and wished to leave my own. I have been researching the Pickering family with all the cousins who are related to me, and your Dad was one of my cousins who also served the US military in WWII. My link with the Pickering family is with a distant Gt. Grandmother Ada Pickering from Birmingham England. She was one of four siblings and the only one to remain in England, the others emigrated to the US and settled in Connecticut. I know a loss in the family is something we all go through, as I lost my father in 2011, so may I send you the family my belated deepest condolences on your loss.
