Helen Marie Rasmussen Davison of Gainesville, FL, passed peacefully on May 6, 2014. She was born on April 25, 1929 in New London, CT, raised in Old Lyme, CT, and moved to Gainesville in 1983.
She was predeceased by her husband, William L. Davison; parents, Norman E. Rasmussen and Helen Waterhouse Rasmussen; brothers, Harvey Rasmussen and Charles Rasmussen; and daughter-in-law, Colleen Davison. She is survived by her children, Willie Davison, Maggi Davison, Joe Davison (Patty), Pat Davison, Katie Rohan (Pat), Terri Davison; grandchildren, Pat Rohan (Alicia), Laura Rohan, Danny Rohan (Lindsay), Bryan Rohan, Mike Rohan (Maidelys), Grace Rohan, Shawn Davison, Rosemary Davison, Will Davison, Caitlin Hodge; great grandchild on the way, Harlow Rohan; sister, Jean Rothwell; and many nieces and nephews.

Viewing will be at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, May 12th, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 500 N.E. 16th Ave. A Mass of Christian Burial, officiated by Father Roland Julien, will be at 11:30 a.m., followed by a luncheon reception. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
