Helen Matthews, 91, of Gainesville, passed away on February 4, 2021 in Gainesville.

Graveside service will be held at Forest Meadows Memorial Park-Central on Monday, February 8, 2021at 1:00 PM.

Helen was born in Alachua to Bill and Anita McIver on June 24, 1929. She went to high school at GHS. She worked as a supervisor for Southern Bell.

Helen is preceded in death by her son, Bruce Matthews.

Helen is survived by her daughter, June Sullivan (Tony), grandchildren, Ryan Sullivan (Heather), and Brittany Sullivan, great granddaughters Lyla Cofer, Riley Sullivan and to arrive any moment Emma Helen Sullivan of Gainesville. Arrangements under the care of Forest Meadows Funeral Home, 725 NW 23rd Ave, Gainesville, Fl., 32609 352-378-2528.
