Aunt Ida was an amazing woman with a heart of gold. Anyone who knew her could see her great love for our Lord and Savior. She will be greatly missed.
Aunt Ida was one of the sweetest ladies I have every known. She had such a wonderful sweet soothing voice. She was very supporting and loving to my mother, Ethel Miller Garner, during her battle with cancer. I fondly remember visiting with her in Sweetwater, FL when I was growing up. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family during this difficult period. She is in heaven now with her beloved family and friends. Love y’all.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the family,
Love,

Aunt Ida was one of the most caring people I knew. She will be missed by many. Heaven gained a perfect angel. I’m sure she’s already met up with the ones that have gone before us. Condolences to the family and may God Bless and watch over you all. Love and miss you all.
Aunt Ida, such a sweet soul that will be missed. She always put others first. She will truly be missed by all who were blessed to know her. Love, thoughts and prayers for all the family.
To the Chestnut family, I have such fond memories as a kid spending wonderful times with your family. Mr. & Mrs. Chestnut allowed me to travel on many vacations to Hawthorn and camp with my best friends Karen and Bev. I am so sorry to hear of your Mother’s passing. I believe she was one of the true angels that walked this earth. Always had a sweet smile to welcome you into their home. I am so blessed to have known both of them and now God has brought them back together. Ms. Ida will be missed by all of us who had the pleasure to know her!!! With love and respect always!
Ida was a precious little lady that I knew only a short time. She had a positive attitude about her stay in Terrace where she was receiving physical therapy. She & her loving family were so kind to my mother, who shared a room with her. She & Beverly were eager to share their faith. I would like to share my deepest sympathy for the family. “Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.” Psalm 116:15
Beverly,
Sounds like your grandmother lived a very full life. What a blessing to have her this long. I know your heart is heavy but there is assurance of seeing her again. I think of you often and appreciate your friendship! Love you
