James Edward Johnson, 83, of Gainesville, Florida passed away on Friday, May 31, 2013. He was born in Orlando, Florida on March 29, 1930 to parents William G. Johnson and Myrtle Goggins. He worked as a Lab and Instrument Supervisor at GRU’s Kelly Generating Station in Southeast Gainesville.  James is survived by his wife Bobby Jo Johnson, his two sons; James Gary (Cheryl) and Gregory Alan Johnson, and four grandchildren; Haley Marie, Kellie Alyn, Jeremy Alan, and Michael David.
