Janice Marie Mattingly, 63, of Gainesville, passed away January 4, 2012 at North Florida Regional Medical Center. Janice was born in Ashland, Wisconsin, graduated from Ashland High School in 1966 and then joined the U.S. Marines. Janice was a kind and loving person who will be missed by her family and friends. She was an animal lover.
She is preceded in death by a brother Ben Rivers. She is survived by her husband of 14 years, Glen R. Mattingly, mother Marion Rivers, sons James H. Warrington (Lorayne Etoll), Thomas Warrington, brother Richard Rivers (Donna), sister Diane Hamann, grandson Andrew J. Warrington, nieces and nephews, Jenny, Amanda, Matt, Andrea and Anthony, and mother-in-law, Barbara K. Mattingly. 
Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, January 8, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Forest Meadows Memorial Park Central, Chapel in the Meadows, 4100 NW 39th Ave, Gainesville, FL with Chaplain Mike Killian Officiating. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Scleroderma Foundation, 300 Rosewood Drive, Suite 105, Danvers, MA 01923.
