Joe Rowe

Rowe, Joe, 86 of Alachua passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at the Gainesville Health Care Center. Joe was a Pentecostal pastor. He was also considered a “Jack of all Trades” working in construction, operating heavy equipment, and security guard. Joe never met a stranger and was a friend to everyone. He was considered a wonderful caretaker to his family and friends.

Joe is survived by his wife Evelyn, sons Randy Stokes and Wallace Joe Rowe; daughters Barbara Knowles, Diane Heflin, Betty Schaupp, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and a great great granddaughter.

Funeral services for Mr. Rowe will be held Monday, February 25, 2013 at 2:00pm in the Forest Meadows Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Hague Community Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 3:00pm-5:00pm on Sunday, February 24, 2013 at the Forest Meadows Funeral Home.
