Juanita Boyleston Myers

Gainesville, Florida – Juanita Boyleston Myers, beloved wife and mother, passed away at her home on June 15, 2015.

She was born in Orangeburg, SC on August 7, 1923 to John Walker Boyleston and Carrie Dukes Boyleston. Mrs. Myers moved to Gainesville in 1947 and worked for several years in the medical records section of the VA Medical Center. She was a homemaker and member of Westside Baptist Church.

Mrs. Myers was preceded in death by her husband, J. Mostella Myers in 1982. She is survived by her two sons James M. Myers (Cheryl) and John.W. Myers (Nancy Thayer); and granddaughters, Sarah Myers and Chente Van Gool.

Funeral Services will be at 10:30 AM on Thursday, June 18, 2015 at Forest Meadows Mausoleum Chapel, 4100 NW 39th Avenue, Gainesville with interment to follow at Forest Meadows Memorial Park Central. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Wednesday, June 17 at Forest Meadows Funeral Home, 725 NW 23rd Avenue, Gainesville.

    Very sorry for the loss of Aunt Nita. I have some wonderful pictures that I will gather for you in case you don’t have them. My prayers will be with all of you as you continue to adjust to life without your Mother. Love to all of you.
