June Chapman (neé Coffin) passed away at ET York Hospice Center on July 31, 2018 in Gainesville, Florida at the age of 69.
June was born on February 1st, 1949 in Gainesville, FL to Bruce and Velma Coffin. She graduated from Gainesville High School and attended Santa Fe College. She was a telephone operator for Southern Bell and retired from the University of Florida as a specialist in Telecommunications. She was a member of the First Advent Christian Church, Gainesville, FL.
June is survived by her husband, Ken Chapman; children, Jeannie Cardeilhac, Julie Thomas, Garah Stewart, and Joye Stewart; grandchildren, Kerie Cardeilhac, Hannah Cardeilhac, Emma DeVore, Isabella Thomas, and Claudia Thomas, and great-grandchildren, Alexander Tappen, Alyssa Tappen, Aiden Tappen, and Arianna Tappen. She is also survived by her brother, Bruce Coffin, Walterboro, SC.
A memorial service is scheduled for August 24th at 4:00 p.m. at Forest Meadows Chapel, 725 NW 23rd Ave., Gainesville, with a reception to follow at the Thomas residence.
