On December 29,2013, our beloved Nikki left this life. She was a loving mother to her three children who called her, ‘supermom’. She was born in Montego Bay and moved to the United States at a very young age. She attended Boyd Anderson High School in Fort Lauderdale and then the University of Florida. She was employed as a teacher at West Port High School in Marion County. We thank God for the time that we had Nikki. We are truly blessed to have had her in our family.
She will be forever missed by her mother Jacqueline Brissett, father Lincoln Robinson, Sister Jenelle Ashley, Brother-in-law Douglas Ashley. Brothers: Lincoln Robinson II, Christopher & Kyle McCreath, children: Aaron, Leah & Rachel. Aunt Karlene, Uncle Tony, Grandmother Gladys Hines.
We will love you forever Nikki. Rest in perfect peace.

Latalia worked at Micanopy Middle School for a brief period in 2012. During this time I found her to be an extremely intelligent, caring, insightful and gregarious employee. She was the consummate professional. She had way to light up the room when she entered it. A pure joy to work with, a pleasure to know and an honor to have had her grace my life. If it is true that its not the years in your life but the life in your years then surely hers was bountiful beyond measure. So I will selfishly weep for having lost a friend and a peer whose physical beauty was only surpassed by her intellectual acuity. RIP

Mrs. Robinson or “Lata;ia” as her 5th period called her was a great biology teacher. She taught me a lot in the short time she taught me. I am going to miss walking into her classroom and seeing her. She will always have a special place in my heart. RIP Mrs. Robinson I am going to miss you. Hunter McBride – 5th period Biology
I only knew Latalia briefly, but she was a beautiful personable young lady who made a lasting impression on me. She shall surely be missed. May God rest her soul.

Those we love don’t go away,
They walk beside us every day,
Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear.
I will miss you everyday my sweet friend!
I am sorry for your loss. There are no words that can take your pain away. You all will be in my prayers.
I truly will miss you Mrs.Robinson…Who would’ve known that we’d be so close.Everything feels different already.
When you came to Sweetwater Branch Academy my 8th Grade year in 2012 I was honored to have you as a teacher. You were more than just a “science teacher” ,you were a Bestfriend and a role model..You were just so loving, caring and sweet. But no matter what you ALWAYS encouraged me to do better. It’s very rare to find someone like you but I am very happy that I got a chance to meet you and know you.I will miss those random Text messages from you til the little “Girl talks”.But memories last a lifetime …& To the family,I know this won’t be easy but God has his hands on you.
Stay strong and I will continue to keep you all in my prayers.

I met Mrs. Robinson in 2012 while she was a substitute at Micanopy Middle School. She was a very nice and loving person who cared about the students. She always carried a smile and was highly respected by the students and staff. We will miss her. My thoughts and prayers are with her children and family.
I have been Nikki’s neighbor since she built her home in Rainbow Lakes Estates. What a wonderful person and Mother! I pray for her beautiful children. May God Bless them and Nikki’s family at this most tragic and difficult time.
Sincerely, Gina and Hans
