Manjeet Kaur, 61, transitioned peacefully surrounded by her children and siblings on October
13, 2022. Manjeet relocated to the United States in 2008 in hopes of providing her children
with the best opportunities to succeed in life. Despite her master’s degree in psychology, she
decided to devote her life in raising her children (Harshvardhan Singh Kera and Jeslin Kaur Kera)
while working full-time that never equated her degree. She was more than happy to be the
central figure in the lives of her children as they successfully started their careers in medicine.
She was an avid health enthusiast with a tender love for gardening. She enjoyed preparing and
serving home cooked meals and advocating a healthy living to all those who would listen. She
lived by two basic principles in life “honest living” and “giving back to those in need”.
Her stage 4 cancer journey was full of endless hurdles, but she faced them with immense
dignity and optimism. Her children and physicians kept the hope alive until she passed
peacefully as a proud mother. Her two children want the world to know that their mother may
have departed early but she taught them a lifetime of knowledge. Her legacy is her children.
Anyone who knows them knows that she was a super star in their eyes, and she’s all that ever
mattered to them. Apart from her children she is survived by her two brothers Surinder Pal Singh, Harpal Singh and three sisters Harvinder Kaur, Daljeet Kaur and Inderjeet Kaur.

Rest in Peace Pinky. Your children will keep your memories alive.
Dear kids it’s so disheartening to hear the loss of your mother. Alongwith my sister Manju Cogi she seemed to be my another sister. May God give you solace.
