Marion Eva Herrin Finch

Marion Eva Finch, 78 of Gainesville, went home to God on January 13, 2014.  She was born April 16, 1935 in St Augustine.  Her husband, James E Finch passed on in 2002.  She was the mother of 4 children, Susan Chambers, Richard Ellsworth, Timothy Ellsworth (passed on in 1982), and Laura Ellsworth.  She has 2 grandsons, Richard Ellsworth Jr, and Timothy Ellsworth and 2 great granddaughters, Randi Leigh and Mikaela.   She was an active volunteer throughout her life, starting with the USO in St. Augustine as a young woman, active in her church throughout her life, and at the Thelma A. Boltin Center as a retiree.  She will be greatly missed.  A mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 9:00am at Holy Faith Catholic Church, 747 NW 43rd St., Gainesville, FL. There will be a visitation on Friday evening from 5:00pm-7:00pm at the Forest Meadows Funeral Home.
