Marjorie Ann Turner Ives, 55 of Gainesville, FL passed away on August 21, 2022, in Gainesville. A graveside ceremony will take place on August 26th at 11:00 am at Forest Meadows Cemetery-East
Marjo was born in Gainesville to Dan and Margie Turner on April 15, 1967. She went to high school at Columbia HS and graduated in 1985.
She was a receptionist at Seminole Community Mental Health Center and then a clerk at Publix for several years. The remainder of her time was spent as a housewife, pursuing musical and media interest, and caring for her cats. She received the National Piano Audition Award in 1982.
Marjo is preceded in death by her parents, Dan Turner, and Margie Shaw of Lake City, FL She is survived by her husband John Milton Ives of Gainesville, two sisters, Brenda Jones and Marilyn Turner of Lake City, brother, Dennis Turner, stepmother, LuAnn Turner, aunt, Priscilla Knox and a niece and nephew, Ava Turner of Lake City and Michael Turner of Gainesville.
