Marlin “Kent” Pauley, 87, of Archer, FL, passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022.
Kent was born in Alcott, West Virginia on May 23, 1934 to William Henry “Dude” Pauley and Grace Maude (Snodgrass) Pauley. Kent was a married to Barbara Joanne (Kelley) Pauley for 59 years.
Kent worked at a Publix as a meat cutter to District Supervisor.
He was an avid hunter; he would go to Colorado to hunt elk. The meat would go to families that needed it. He would design and build beautiful solid wood furniture. He was a big WII buff. His older brother Austin served and since than he had an insatiable curiosity about WWII.
Kent is survived by His daughters; Barbara L. Pauley (Archer) & Sandra J. Aggers (Newberry). His son-in-law; Howard W. Aggers. His Grandsons; Michael K. Aggers (Paige), Brian W. Aggers, Joshua K. Aggers (Brittany). His Great-Grandsons; Austin Thomas & Elijah Alexander. His Great Granddaughter; Natalie Renee
Kent is preceded in death by His bride of 59 years; Barbara Joanne (Kelley) Pauley, His Father; William Henry “Dude” Pauley and his mother; Grace Maude (Snodgrass) Pauley. His Siblings; William Austin (Virginia) and Marjorie Lois (Dodie).
A visitation will be held The Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Forest Meadows Funeral Home with a service to follow at 4:00 pm, burial will be at Forest Meadows Memorial Park-West following the service.
