Mary Virginia Norton

The sweet spirit of Mary V. Norton passed peacefully from this world on February 3, 2015 after a brief illness. She was a home economics and science teacher at Hawthorne High School. She was preceded in death by her husband, John S. Norton. She is survived by daughter, Trish Norton; her son, John S. Norton, Jr. (Penelope); grandsons, Jamie Norton ((fiancee, Stephanie Dockins) and Matt Norton (Claire); granddaughter, Amanda Norton (friend,Pat Emery).

Services will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Wesley United Methodist Church,

826 NW 23rd Avenue, Gainesville. Visitation will be at the Church one hour prior to the service.

Interment will be at Forest Meadows Memorial Park East, 3700 SE Hawthorne Road. Arrangements are in the care of Forest Meadows Funeral Home (352) 378-2528.
