Mr. Gus T. Williams, Jr. entered into eternal peace Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at NFRMC under the care of Haven Hospice in Gainesville, Florida. The family has planned a graveside service honoring his life at Forest Meadows East Cemetery, 3700 SE Hawthorne Road. Gus Jr was predeceased by his parents Carrie W. Hill and Gus Williams, Sr. and siblings Diana Williams and Faylene Thompson. Surviving siblings: JoAnne Reese (Moses), Dale Williams, Gainesville, Florida, Gwen Gather, Rockledge, FL, Alfreda Gaines (Nathaniel), Gainesville, Florida, Gabriel McDaniel, Jacksonville, Florida, John and Timothy Williams, Gainesville, Florida; nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews, and cousins, one uncle Cleveland Caffie, Sr., stepfather Shelton Hill, Sr., stepbrothers Shelton, Jr. and Ernest Hill, and friends.
Visitation with family and friends will be one hour prior to the service at 11:00 A.M.
We extend sincere thanks to the Thomas family and staff for the many years of friendship with the late Gus T. Williams, Sr. We would also like to thank the Florida Cancer Specialists medical staff: Drs.
