Keystone Heights – Nancy Jean Haufler Fisher of Keystone Heights, Florida passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, February 18, 2013 and went to be with her Lord. She was born November 25, 1941 in Gainesville, FL and moved to Keystone Heights in 2008. Nancy was a homemaker, a wonderful cook, gardener, and enjoyed sewing and reading. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend and loved her family with all her heart. She also loved her church, The Church at Orange Heights, as well as traveling.
Nancy was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Walter Fisher, Jr., her parents, Ernest and Margaret Haufler and brother, Roy Haufler. She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Fisher Sparkman (Tony) of Hawthorne, sons Walter A. Fisher, III (Lori) of Keystone Heights, Craig Fisher of Gainesville and Chris Fisher of Gainesville. She has 7 grandchildren, Andy (Wendi), Jeannie (Matt), Jamie (Aaron), Dylan, Trisha, Christopher and Garrett. She has 6 great-grandchildren, Shelby, Lane, Jacob, Luke, Elijah and Jackson, and a brother, Bob Haufler (Sandra) and many nieces.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on February 22, 2013 at Forest Meadows Memorial Park Central, 4100 NW 39th Avenue, Gainesville with Pastor Lonnie Broome officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior from 1-2 PM.
