Patricia Bean-Crowell

Patricia Bean-Crowell passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at the Haven Hospice House of Gainesville.  She was 81 years old.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Allen  and Henrietta Colvin and infant son Richard Bean.  She is survived by her husband Ward Crowell. Children Susan Edwards (Bob), Sandra Windischmann (Karl), Sharon Bush, and John Bean.  Grandchildren Mandy Cobb (Wes), Cory Edwards, April, Karli, and Erika Windischmann, Ethan and Payton Bush.  Sister-in-law Nancy Bean Watson, nieces and nephews Jay, Laurie Ann, Alison and Eddie, and friends who enriched her life.

    Patricia was born on February 23, 1932 in Cambridge, Massachusetts and moved to Gainesville in 1957.  She retired after working for the Florida Museum of Natural History for several years.   She enjoyed serving on the Board of ARC, volunteering for Special Olympics, and teaching the Ladies International Bible Study group.  She was a longtime member of North Central Baptist Church.

    In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Haven Hospice.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at North Central Baptist Church, Gainesville, Florida.
