Patty Jean Watson

Patty Jean Watson passed away at home on Monday, June 29, surrounded by her family, she was 84. Patty was born in Cedar Key and moved to Gainesville where she married Gene Watson in 1956. She was married for 64 years. She dedicated her life to raising her family.  She and her family were avid campers and Patty loved to fish, entertain and prepare her famous recipes. Patty is survived by her husband Gene, two daughters, Debra Rodriguez and Tammy Langford, as well as four grandchildren, Patrick, Rachel, Amy & Travis and eight great-grandchildren. Services will be Thursday, July 2 at Forest Meadows Funeral Home Chapel. 725 NW 23rd AVE, Gainesville, Florida. With a visitation from 1:00-2:00 pm and a service to follow.

    I will always remember Patty, she has a beautiful legacy in her children and grandchildren. My thoughts go out to her family.
