Bob was a great man. I often saw him in many places around G’ville including Millhopper Publix. I am pleased my grandson, Tyler, met him twice. He was always gracious. You made a difference in this world, Bob. Thank you. Semper Fi…you were faithful to the end.
Bob was a very approachable humble man . He was always ready with a handshake or hug . My husband and I were proud to introduce our young grandson to this hero and as a Marine like his own grandpapa. Condolences to Bobs family and friends… Semper Fi
I met Bob years ago at a Marine Corps League meeting, and we’ve been friends ever since. He was always kind, always concerned and an all around nice guy.
I did not realize Mr. Gasche had passed away until I saw him celebrated on Memorial Day, on the news . He was a kind man, and my heart goes out to Mrs. Gasche, Laurene, Tracy, and the rest of the family.
Sincerely, J. Chris Jones
Mr. Gasche was a true hero, and it was an honor to have known him. I Came to know the Gasche family back in the ‘70’s, when I became classmates with “Buddy”, their son. Buddy, who passed away several years ago, was also a hero. Buddy was a fire fighter.
Rest in peace Mr. Gasche, and God Bless your family.
