Robert Francis “BZ” Zorn Jr., (Bobby), was called home on May 14, 2022 at the VA Hospital in Tampa surrounded by his loved ones. A beloved son, brother, uncle & friend, Bob brought love and sunshine into the lives of all who knew him.
He was born in Poughkeepsie, NY 2/22/66 to his loving parents Bob & Jan Zorn. He enlisted in the US Navy from 1989-1994. He was preceded in death by his soulmate, Julie Ann Zorn whom he met while stationed in Guam, and married in 1994. They spent their married life in the Pacific Northwest in Sedro Woolly, WA, in the majestic Cascade mountains. He enjoyed spending time outdoors in the mountains skiing and snowmobiling. He loved his family, friends and all animals.
He is survived by his parents, Jan & Bob Zorn of Ocoee, FL previously of Gainesville, FL. His siblings Steven (Teresa), David (Laura), Theresa Zorn, Chris, Renae Tubbs (Scott), and 13 nieces and nephews all who adore him.
“A celebration of life” will be held at St Patrick’s Catholic Church on June 11, 2022 at 11:30am at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Gainesville, Florida. Inurnment will follow, with Military Honors at Forest Meadows Cemetery, Gainesville.

    My dear friends, Jan & Bob. I have missed you both greatly and often speak of you both with such fondness with other parishioners as we share great memories of dear friends. I am very saddened about Bobby. My love and prayers for you both is endless.

    To all the Zorns who have lost their son , brother and uncle. And for us who have lost a cousin. May he rest in peace . That the Lord give you his family comfort and peace as you grieve.
