Roger P. Bryan, Sr., 75 passed away on April 24, 2012 at E T. York Haven Hospice, Gainesville, FL. Mr. Bryan was born in Winston Salem, NC and moved to Gainesvile 50 years ago from Green Cove Springs. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Ruth Bryan, and his wife Virginia. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church as well as many other organizations including, FHSAA (referee), Member, Gator National Booster Club, Past President Gainesville Exchange Club, Antique Automotive Club of America, Antique Automotive Club of Gainesville, Life Member of Model T Ford Clubs International, Inc., Life Member Orange Blossom Chapter Hudson-Essex and Terraplane Club, Train Collectors Club, Owner/President of Trainmaster, Inc., Published Trainmaster Newsletter (National Publication), Past President Florida United Numismatists, Inc, Past General Chairman of National Convention American Numismatic Association, Numismatist and Life Member American Numismatic Association, Life Member American Israel Numismatic Association, Inc., PCGS Authorized Dealer, Gator Boosters, Inc. and University of Florida Alumni.

He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Dora Lee Bryan, son Roger P. Bryan, Jr. of Gainesville, brothers Earl Franklin Bryan (Vicki), Melvyn Bryan (Carolyn) of Jacksonville, sister Melba Johnson (Johnnie) of Starke, 4 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on April 28, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Trinity United Methodist Church, 4000 NW 53rd Avenue, Gainesville, FL with Dr. Dan Johnson, Sr. Pastor, and Dr. Tom Farmer, Keystone United Methodist Church, officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Missions, Living Water International, c/o Trinity United Methodist Church.
