Salvatore Anthony Zottola, age 91 of Archer passed away Monday, July 27, 2015 at his residence. He was a machine operator for New York City and moved to Archer, FL from New York 40 years ago. He was born to Vincent Zottola and Mary Derosa on February 1, 1924 in New York City, NY. He was a member of the Eagles and Amvets post 88 in Bronson. He is survived by his wife, Marie Zottola and son Vincent Zottola of Archer, a daughter, Diane (Charles) Italiano, Ossining, NY, two grandchildren Charles and Lauren and one greatgranddaughter, Gabriella. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 9:30 am, Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at Holy Family Catholic Church, Williston with Father Mannay Lopez officiating. A visitation will be held from 9:00 to 9:30 prior to the services at the church. Burial will take place following the services at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell with full military honors. Arrangements are under the care of Forest Meadows Funeral Home, Gainesville, FL.
